Index 1.50 is the standard thickness of eyeglass lens material.
The thickness of the lens is also influenced by the diameter of the eyeglass lens, which depends on the frame size and pupillary distance. For high correction values, it is worth choosing frames with a smaller lens area. Some lenses offer METS optimization - fitting the smallest required diameter. We recommend optimization for positive correction values.
Glare reduction, standard hardening, no water spot streaks.
The Hi-Vision Aqua anti-reflective coating improves visual contrast with 99.9% light transmission. It contains a water-repellent layer that prevents water spot streaks.
Polarizing filter with 85% permanent tint + 100% UV filter. Eyeglasses sunglasses that extinguish polarized reflected light, e.g., the glare of the sun from a wet road surface.
Classic "spherical" lens construction.
Advanced HOYA spectacle lenses.
Antireflective coatings with standard surface hardening, without easy-to-clean layers.
